It is managed by Michael Fredericks , Justin Christofeland Alex Shingler , managers of the multi-asset investment team focused on income generation from BlackRock, which supervises assets worth more than 27,000 million euros. It seeks to provide constant and secure rents in different market environments, while maintaining risk management at the core of the investment process. The strategy addresses a broad universe of investment in fixed income and equity and can also invest in classes of complementary assets, such as global real estate investment funds (REITs), preferred shares, mortgage securitization bonds and options.

Access to this broad investment universe provides diversification to investors and allows managers to adapt the portfolio to achieve the profitability objectives of the strategy. With risk management at the center, the portfolio is managed to keep risk at a level equal to or lower than its risk benchmark, composed of 70% by bonds and 30% by shares.

"The balance between risk and profitability in the current investment landscape has placed investors in a difficult position. Low rates cause investors to be in need of income, but market uncertainty makes it difficult to take risks. The BlackRock Global Conservative Income Fund seeks to solve this problem by offering a steady flow of income while managing risk with attention, "said Michael Fredericks , principal manager of the BGF Global Conservative Income strategy and head of investment oriented to income generation. for multi-active strategies in BlackRock.

"The global financial crisis and the persistence of uncertainty in the markets has caused investors to be increasingly cautious about where and how they invest to receive rents. Sometimes, the most prudent investors in the risk spectrum have a scarce supply in terms of investment vehicles that generate cash flows and that can fit with their degree of predisposition to risk. By adopting a conservative approach and placing risk management at the core of the investment process, the BlackRock Conservative Income Fund is designed to generate a steady stream of periodic income for investors regardless of the market context, "said Michael Gruener , responsible of the distribution business for the EMEA region in BlackRock.
