SAMI to showcase the latest aerospace technologies and systems at Dubai Airshow 2019

Riyadh, 17 November 2019: Reinforcing its commitment to driving the development of Saudi Arabia’s military and defense ecosystem, Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI) will participate in the 2019 edition of Dubai Airshow set to take place at Dubai World Central from 17 – 21 November.

As part of its participation, SAMI is showcasing its extensive portfolio of wide-ranging aerospace technologies and systems. The company will also explore new partnership opportunities to facilitate the transfer of technology to further bolster capabilities across its Aeronautics, Land Systems, Weapons and Missiles, and Defense Electronics, and Emerging Technologies divisions.

SAMI Navantia Naval Industries (SAMINavantia), a joint venture between SAMI and Navantia S.A. that aims to become a regional Combat System Integration (CSI) leader, and Advanced Electronics Company (AEC), a SAMI company specializing in defense and aerospace, ICT, security, and energy industries, will also take part in the biggest aerospace event in the Middle East, Asia, and Africa, under SAMI’s umbrella.

Set to be held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the Dubai Airshow is expected to gather 1,300 exhibitors and 87,000 visitors from around the world.
