Advanced Electronics Company paves way for Saudi Arabia’s defense and aerospace innovations at Dubai Airshow

Dubai, UAE – 22 November 2019: Reinforcing its preeminent position in the regional electronics, technology and manufacturing industry, Advanced Electronics Company (AEC) a Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI) company, today concluded its successful participation in the 2019 edition of Dubai Airshow, with a number of important strategic announcements and strong visitor interest for its latest defense and aerospace solutions and services on display.

In addition, AEC highlighted its comprehensive suite of advanced Avionics, Electronics, C5ISR products and services, and Electronic Warfare. The company also highlighted its Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) and Manufacturing (MFG) capabilities at the biggest aerospace event in the Middle East, Asia, and Africa.

During the event, AEC also welcomed a number of senior officials and industry leaders to its stand, including HRH Major General Turki bin Bandar Al Saud, Royal Saudi Air Forces commander, HRH Prince Sultan bin Salman Al Saud, Chairman of the Saudi Space Agency, and His Excellency Eng. Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al Ohali , Governor of the General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI), His Excellency Eng. Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed, Minister of Transport and Communications in the Kingdom of Bahrain, His Excellency Abdulhadi Ahmed Almansouri, President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, and Dr. Andreas Schwer, Chief Executive Officer, Saudi Arabian Military Industries Company (SAMI).

 In addition to Major General Engineer Attiyah bin Jdeih Al Attiyah of the General Department of spare parts, maintenance and repair at the Saudi Ministry of Defense, Staff Major General Ahmed Ali Humaid Al-Ali, Assistant Secretary-General for Military Affairs, Khalid Al-Jaouini, General Manager for Public Projects,at the Saudi Ministry of Defense, His Excellency Staff Lt. General Hamad M. Thani Al Rumaithi, Chief of Staff of the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces, and His Excellency Matar Al Dhahri, Undersecretary of the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Defense.

AEC’s latest technologies on display at Dubai Airshow included its flagship C5ISR systems and solutions that include Cyber Security, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Data Diode, Air Observation Systems (AOS), Command and Control systems (C4ISR). The company also showcased its state-of-the-art portfolio of the Electronic Warfare category that included Anti-Drone System and Electronic Intelligence (ELINT).
