Leonardo and its joint venture Telespazio have been unveiled the #T-TeC, Telespazio Technology Contest-Open Innovation contest that is open for all students and researchers from universities and research Departments all over the world on 19th October 2021 11:00 am Dubai Time on the podium of the Italy Pavilion in Expo 2020 Dubai.
The core spirit or motive for conducting this open contest in its third edition is to unveil the spirit of Innovation being one of the core words amongst the aerospace arena. Evolution of latest technologies empowers us to sincerely discover the Moon or the planets in the Solar System or to detect the phenomena that touch the deepest parts of the Universe.
In the same way, innovation in the space sector benefits us (on Earth as well) to improved understanding the shift taking place on our planet, to contribute to a sustainable development and to create services, applications and technologies that can progress the life of all inhabitants.
As per Leonardo’s report unveiled that, the objective of the #T-TeC, which has touched its third edition this year, is to garner in and shape the ideas and instinct of young students and research workers, endorsing progression and technological innovation in the space sector and imagining, with these young people, the technologies that will mark the near future.
As per the firm’s announcement, a meeting has been planned for 19th October, at 11:00 Dubai Time, on the stage of the Italy Pavilion in Expo 2020 Dubai, during which they’ll display curious facts related to #T-TeC2021 and answer any queries about the contest.
The meeting’s participants comprises of Sultan Al Zeidi (Principle Engineer – Communications and Electrical Systems, Department of Space Missions at UAE Space Agency), Luigi Pasquali (Coordinator of Leonardo Space Activities and CEO of Telespazio), Pierpaolo Gambini (Senior Vice President Innovation and IP for Leonardo), Marco Brancati (Chief Technology Innovation Officer for Telespazio), Massimo Claudio Comparini (CEO of Thales Alenia Space Italia) and Michèle Lavagna (Tenured professor in Flight Dynamics, scientific sector, Department for Aerospace Science and Technology of the Politecnico di Milano).
The event will be moderated by the scientific journalist and writer Emilio Cozzi.
