Imdaad, a Dubai-based group of companies that provides integrated, sustainable Facilities Management (FM) services that enhance the operational efficiencies of physical assets, has recently secured a contract to provide comprehensive common area cleaning services, along with room attendant services, to The Dubai Foundation for Women and Children (DFWAC), the first licensed non-profit shelter in the UAE for women and children.
Under the terms of its year-long agreement with DFWAC, Imdaad will deploy a team of 5 male and 4 female cleaning staff to operate across the foundation’s 50,000 square meter premises. Imdaad’s staff will be responsible for General Cleaning services for DFWAC’s common areas, along with various Room Attendant services.
At present, the foundation serves approximately 500 women and children, while also regularly receiving representatives from both local and international organizations including the United Nations, the Dubai Government, and members of various global embassies.
Commenting on the contract, Jamal Abdulla Lootah, Group CEO of Imdaad, said: “We at Imdaad take great pride in providing our expert, eco-friendly cleaning services to one of Dubai’s most important non-profit foundations. The work that DFWAC is doing for the benefit of the UAE as a whole is invaluable, and Imdaad looks forward to commencing an agreement that is very much aligned with its long-term corporate social responsibility objectives.”
The Dubai Foundation for Women and Children (DFWAC) was established in 2007 to offer immediate protection and support services for women and children in the UAE against domestic violence, child abuse, and human trafficking. It is the first licensed non-profit shelter in the UAE that runs specifically for the care of women and children.
