2022 marks Cellcard’s 25th anniversary, and it raised Cellcard’s flag as an industry innovator with multiple product launches all of which contributed to customer growth, digital adoption, as well as financial achievement for the brand.

These achievements have not gone unnoticed.

In 2023, the International Business Magazine awards Cellcard with the coveted win “Best Digital Lifestyle Provider 2023” Award. The award takes into consideration, not only the innovations launched, but its impact and ability to address the needs of our customers whilst providing new experiences and conveniences to support their digital lifestyles.

These innovations include (1) Time To Rise, which marked the first time that any telco plan has been developed and marketed in collaboration with an artist, and the first time Spotify is introduced to the Cambodian market. (2) Playgame Unlimited, which was updated in 2022 to provide not only access to top esports game titles but arcade game titles as well to address a wider gaming audience. (3) Playgame Cloud; the first cloud gaming platform, which breaks the console gaming barrier by allowing gamers to play the games they love on devices they already own. (4) Serey, Cellcard’s new base plan, which offers data freedom by providing the full maximum data benefit allowed by government and offers rollover features to ensure none of these benefits go to waste.

“We are honoured to have our initiatives recognised by the International Business Magazine and its international panel of judges and are delighted to accept this award on the back of our most recent innovations. Last year was a big year for Cellcard but the energies of our anniversary year continue to drive our work and impact this year and for years more to come as we forge a path towards network excellence. These innovations are all thanks to the teams who’ve put a lot of effort in understanding our customers, their challenges, and their ever-changing needs. We look forward to receiving the award and sharing our story with the international business community at the official awards ceremony in Dubai.” – Cellcard CEO, Simon Perkins.

The International Business Magazine Grand Annual Awards Ceremony will be held on Quarter 4 2023 at the Atlantis, the Palm, Dubai, and will be attended by some of the most successful business leaders from across the globe.
