Forescout Technologies Inc., a global leader in automated cybersecurity, announced today the appointment of Hassan El Karhani as the general manager for the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa region. Also, joining his team is Sam Ismail, the new director.
Industry sources added that in this role, Karhani will expand Forescout’s regional presence, drive growth and investment and streamline the company to better serve organizations and government entities who are faced with an ever-evolving threat landscape.
Industry sources also reaffirmed that Karhani brings decades of senior management and leadership experience along with a deep understanding of the region’s diverse networking and cybersecurity landscape. He possesses a strong background in networking, networking security, and security automation technologies, and is proficient in developing and implementing strategies that help protect against cyberattacks.
“As the region continues to grow, IT managers, security advisors, and senior decision-makers across governments and organizations are finding it very difficult to cope with a constantly progressing threat landscape,” commented Hassan El Karhani, general manager, Forescout, Middle East, Turkey, and Africa.

Prior to joining Forescout, he held prominent leadership positions in technology-related consulting, services, and sales as well as senior IT management roles at various US companies.
