Beta Egypt for Urban Development organized, by the invitation of the Magdi Yacoub Heart Foundation, a visit to the central hospital headquarters in Aswan Governorate, in the presence of the Beta Egypt Chairman, Eng. Alaa Fekry who met the international surgeon, Dr. Magdi Yaqoub.

The strategic cooperation was renewed between “Beta Egypt” and the “Magdi Yacoub Heart Foundation”, as a cooperation agreement was signed between the two parties last year, and Beta Egypt contributed to providing miscellaneous aids.

Eng. Alaa Fekry praised, uring the visit, the great equipment and careful attention to creating a therapeutic and healing environment at the latest level for patients, as well as attention to hygiene and the provision of healthy food.

He said: “we have the honor to visit a giant edifice, that is Dr. Magdi Yaqoub Heart Center in Aswan Governorate, which represents a major success story for treating and providing a better healthy life for thousands of Egyptian patients.”

He indicated that this edifice does not differentiate between citizens according to their jobs, financial capabilities, age or gender, as everyone gets treatment, attention and follow-up.

He assured that the company will subsidize and contribute, either by preparing a room, purchasing medical equipment and supplies, for the new branch of the Foundation in October Gardens, which is currently being equipped, or paying the costs of operations.

He stressed the importance of contributions to subsidize the Foundation in light of the increase in the costs of equipment and construction and the high costs of purchasing equipment that is imported from abroad.

Dina El-Gazzar, Vice President for Development and Fundraising Affairs at the Magdi Yacoub Foundation for Heart Diseases and Research, affirmed the importance of donations to provide the necessary financial resources to supply the latest clinical and medical services to patients.

She expressed her happiness at renewing cooperation with “Beta Egypt” to treat more patients, and subsidize the construction and preparing to complete as soon as possible the center’s branch in October City, which will be the largest of its kind in the region.

“Beta Egypt” is keen to diversify the entities to which it subsidize, as part of its constant endeavor is to implement an integrated community role.

Beta Egypt for Urban Development Co. has a 30-year precedent  works, during which it implemented a number of real estate projects, including integrated residential and commercial projects in October  city and New Cairo.
