Software AG launches MET Partner Academy to increase learning and expertise

As countries across the region accelerate their national transformation journeys and governments implement innovative ICT capabilities to drive their transformation to digital, the need for targeted and most updated skills development continues to rise. In its support to governments and enterprises,ย Software AGย has launched its Middle East & Turkey (MET) Partner Academy to expand training and skill development opportunities to train talent within the partner ecosystem and drive increased innovation and competitive capability.

The academy will deliver in-depth learning through a full curriculum along with badges and certifications with in-country trainings in UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt and Turkey. With over 300 registrations received from partner companies already, the training is designed to equip partnersโ€™ workforce with high in-demand skills of the future in critical technologies, including Integration & API Management,ย IoT & Analyticsย andย Business Transformation. The academy will boost Software AGโ€™s mission of creating truly connected enterprises, creating a fluid flow of data, through the intersection of people, departments, systems and devices to deliver rich use cases of IoT Cloud hybrid integration, business process mining and self-service analytics.

Digital transformation spending is expected to double, to top USD 74 Billion a year by 2026 across Middle East, Tรผrkiye, and Africa, according to a recent forecast by IDC.

The Software AG MET Partner Academy is an offshoot of Software AGโ€™s global PartnerConnect program, tailored for the region, that will incorporate in-depth in-country sessions, for Software AG solutions. The sessions will be led by regional and global Software AG subject matter experts and will focus on technical and commercial requirements for individual partners to acquire the desired skill sets for digital transformation. Sessions will be held across Business Transformation, API, Integration & Microservices and IoT & Analytics, with partners having the choice of choosing the most critical or all three business units of transformation for skill development. The training program will run for six months across 10 in-depth in-country sessions. Partner trainees will be awarded with Software AG badges and certifications upon program completion.
