In today’s rapidly evolving global landscape, innovation has become the cornerstone of economic growth and development. India Inc., with its vast pool of talent and a burgeoning entrepreneurial ecosystem, is poised to leverage innovation as a key engine of economic growth.

In the face of a multitude of economic pressures, with growth slowing in core markets for some, the criticality of rolling out innovative new products and services with renewed business models. With plans to refocus expenditures on areas such as M&A, innovation labs, and open innovation ecosystems, companies seem to be acutely aware of the old adage of downturns separating winners from also-rans. A strategy of wait-and-watch is simply not good enough, as it can allow progressive-minded competition the opportunity to set the stage for future, sustained success.

The inaugural edition of Most Innovative Companies of India 2023, presented by Marksmen Daily, and brought to you by Team Marksmen, brings to the fore the value of innovation as a core value, and gives a platform to senior industry leaders and visionaries championing a culture of curiosity and risk-taking. Over the course of day-long deliberations, these seasoned veterans will highlight how greasing the gears of innovation can ensure the organization remains agile and competitive in a rapidly evolving business landscape.

This industry-centric platform will feature leaders such as Nikhil Malhotra, Chief Innovation Officer, Tech Mahindra; Abhay Tandon, Digital Innovation Officer, TVS Motor Company; Dr. Richard Lobo, Head Innovation, Tata Chemicals Limited; Sumant Sood, Head Innovation, Titan Company Limited; and Satish Satyarthi, Chief Innovation Officer, Eureka Forbes Limited, among many others. Cumulatively, they will highlight the means by which organizations can navigate the changing consumer landscape using tech-enabled innovation, creating an innovation–driven culture and the role of innovation in our lives.

This celebratory event will also bear witness to organizations anointed Most Innovative Companies of India 2023, who have prioritized innovation and leveraged it to the fullest to consistently deliver new products, enter new markets, and establish new revenue streams while others make incremental improvements as they hesitate on putting innovation front and center.

The organizations finalized as part of this research-driven initiative have demonstrated a commitment to innovation, assigning their best talent to work on it, and steadily aiming to transform investment into results thanks to these future growth strategies. It is a large part of the reason these organizations are much further along the road to success than their peers, who have yet to fully commit to innovation as they focus on conventional growth strategies.

Offering his thoughts ahead of the event, Sharad Gupta, Co-Founder and COO, of Team Marksmen Network, said, “The Most Innovative Companies of India epitomize the spirit of ingenuity to the fullest, having fostered a culture of innovation, embraced new technologies, and capitalized on emerging trends to take their place at the head of the field. The secret of their success is their willingness to fuel their innovation engines, widening their lead over others who haven’t gotten off the starting blocks, since they haven’t reset their own priorities and investments for the future. Their willingness to break the mold has seen them earn the right to be dubbed Most Innovative Companies of India 2023.”
