According to Industry sources, the Freedom 125 CNG hybrid bike comes in three variants, each available in seven vibrant color combinations.
Powered by a robust 125cc single-cylinder engine, this bike delivers 9.5 ps power and 9.7 Nm torque, paired with a smooth 5-speed transmission system. The engine features a counterbalancer to reduce vibrations, ensuring a smooth ride. With 16-inch tyres, front telescopic suspension, and rear mono-shock, this bike is built for comfort and safety.
Rajiv Bajaj, Managing Director, Bajaj Auto, proudly announces the longest seat in the commuter segment, providing unmatched comfort for riders. The bike also features a premium reverse LCD console with Bluetooth connectivity, making it a tech-savvy ride.
Safety is paramount, with the bike undergoing 11 rigorous safety tests, including the CNG Valve impact test and Frontal pendulum test. Sarang Kanade, President – Motorcycle Business, Bajaj Auto, highlights the bike’s low operating cost, promising over 50% savings in daily rides compared to conventional petrol motorcycles. This translates to a staggering INR 75,000 in savings over 5 years!
The Freedom 125 boasts a unique switch-on-the-go system, allowing riders to seamlessly switch between CNG and petrol fuel. With a claimed top speed of 90.5 km/h in CNG and 93.4 km/h in petrol, this bike offers a combined range of approximately 330 kms. Bajaj Freedom is not only eco-friendly but also environmentally beneficial, reducing CO2 emissions by 26%, NMHC by 85%, and NOX by 43% compared to conventional petrol bikes.
