AppsFlyer, The Modern Marketing Cloud, has announced its integration with ChatGPT Ads, enabling marketers to measure ad campaigns in ChatGPT directly within the AppsFlyer platform. Grubhub and more than a dozen other advertisers are already using the integration to bring mobile app measurement — including installs, app opens, and in-app purchases — to their ad campaigns in ChatGPT, in addition to web. Brands can now view, attribute, and optimize their ChatGPT Ads performance in the same place they manage all other channels, with no new engineering and no new vendor integration.

ChatGPT now has more than 900 million weekly active users and over 50 million consumer subscribers. People come to it to explore ideas, compare options, and make decisions, and ads in ChatGPT appear in the right context. AppsFlyer’s measurement and optimization connect that moment of discovery to the outcome, across mobile apps and websites in a single integration.

With this ChatGPT Ads integration, advertisers get a source of truth they can trust. ChatGPT Ad’s optimization algorithms get accurate, unbiased signals to work with. For a platform scaling its advertising capabilities, that kind of reliable third-party measurement data is what improves campaign performance for every marketer advertising in ChatGPT.

Grubhub is among the marketers already using the integration to bring mobile app measurement to its ad campaigns in ChatGPT.

Grubhub has advertised in ChatGPT since OpenAI opened the platform to advertisers in February 2026, giving the team roughly five months of campaign data to build on. The AppsFlyer integration adds visibility into app installs, app opens, in-app orders, and in-app subscriptions.

“We already use AppsFlyer as our mobile measurement partner across other paid media channels, so this integration extends the same trusted measurement capabilities to our ad campaigns in ChatGPT,” said Brian Ryu, Vice President of Growth at Grubhub. “Because so much of our customer engagement happens in the app, app attribution gives us a much more complete view of campaign performance — from ad engagement through conversion. That visibility helps us better understand impact and make more informed optimization decisions in real time.”

“As new channels like OpenAI emerge, marketers need to measure them the same way they measure established partners like Meta, TikTok, and Google. Our integration with OpenAI does exactly that, giving marketers the same trusted, unbiased signals from AppsFlyer today to make confident decisions about where to spend,” said Alexia Nakad, GM, EMEA West, AppsFlyer. “OpenAI has built a genuinely impressive advertising programme, and choosing to bring in standardised, neutral third-party measurement this early in its evolution builds trust with advertisers from the outset, and it’s a signal other emerging channels facing the same pressure should take note of. Grubhub and the other advertisers already live on this integration are early proof the model works, and we expect that list to keep growing in the coming months.”

The integration also works end-to-end with AppsFlyer’s Deep Linking Suite, OneLink. Every click from a campaign in ChatGPT Ads routes customers to the right destination, whether they’re on mobile or web, and whether or not they already have the app installed. For brands where app installs and in-app revenue are primary KPIs, that routing connects the ad impression to the complete customer journey.

The integration is live now for all AppsFlyer customers. Connecting a ChatGPT Ads account takes minutes: a Pixel ID, an API key, and event mapping, with no changes to an existing AppsFlyer setup. AppsFlyer will continue to work closely with the team at OpenAI to build out the integration, with a joint webinar planned for mutual customers covering setup, best practices, and performance insights.
