The Social and Sport Contribution Fund (DAAM) has signed a financing agreement with Qatar Career Development Center (QCDC), founded by Qatar Foundation, to support the Youth Labor Market Readiness Program.

Under the agreement, the Fund will provide a financial contribution to support a number of platforms and initiatives aimed at creating an integrated career development ecosystem for students from grades 9 to 12 in public schools, helping them discover their interests and abilities and prepare for the labor market.

The program includes the development of a national AI-powered career advising platform tailored to the Qatari community, designed to help students identify their interests and understand the academic pathways available to them at university level. The agreement also includes support for the Al-Dileela platform, which provides career advising services delivered by specialists, in addition to preparatory training programs and real-world job shadowing experiences in workplace settings to develop skills and build practical experience.

Commenting on the agreement, Saad Abdulla Al-Kharji, Executive Director of QCDC, said:
“Preparing young people for the labor market requires strengthening the connection between their aspirations, their skills, and the future needs of the country. Through this agreement with DAAM, we are creating a more integrated pathway that allows QCDC to build on its existing programs, expand their reach, and deliver career development support in a way that is more connected, accessible, and responsive to Qatar’s long-term human capital priorities.”

Hassan Yousef Al Obaidly, Director of Programs at DAAM, said: “This agreement builds on the Fund’s efforts to support national programs aimed at developing young people’s capabilities and strengthening their readiness for the future. It represents an important step toward empowering young talent and equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to transition confidently into the labor market. This cooperation also reaffirms the Fund’s commitment to supporting initiatives with sustainable community impact.”

The agreement reflects the shared commitment of both entities to investing in young national talent and supporting Qatar National Vision 2030 by contributing to human capital development. It also reflects the role of DAAM and Qatar Stock Exchange-listed contributing companies in supporting national initiatives with sustainable community impact, while reinforcing QCDC’s mandate to help young people make informed academic and career decisions.

Since its establishment in 2010, DAAM has launched a number of vital projects and initiatives across the cultural, social, sports, and charitable sectors. Contributions from companies listed on Qatar Stock Exchange are among the Fund’s key financial resources, making them an essential partner in advancing community development.
