Primark, in partnership with Alshaya Group, has announced plans for its first store in Saudi ArabiaThe new store will open in The Avenues Mall, Riyadh, which opens in March 2027 and will expand Primarkโs presence to 5 countries in the region and 22 countries worldwide.
International fashion retailer Primark has recently confirmed that it will open its first store in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) in March 2027.
In partnership with leading international retail franchise operator Alshaya Group, the first Primark store in KSA will open in the new The Avenues Mall in Riyadh, set to become one of the largest and most prominent shopping and leisure destinations in the Middle East and Africa (MENA) region.
The announcement follows the successful opening of its first stores in the UAE at Dubai Mall, City Centre Mirdif, and Mall of the Emirates earlier this year.
The landmark The Avenues โ Riyadh project will feature a wide array of global retail outlets alongside exceptional leisure and entertainment concepts and will span a land area of 390,000 square meters, with a gross leasable area exceeding 400,000 square meters. The mall is scheduled to open in March 2027.

Last year, Alshaya Group signed an agreement with Shomoul Holding, developer of The Avenues โ Riyadh and a subsidiary of Mabanee Company, to invest over $150M, opening 100 stores from its world-famous brands and creating over 2,500 opportunities for Saudi nationals.
With thousands of customers attending the opening events of the eagerly anticipated flagship Primark stores in Dubai in recent months and Kuwait last October, shoppers have experienced Primarkโs unique value offering which spans both the latest fashion trends and everyday essentials, all at unbeatable prices across womenswear, menswear, childrenswear, home and beauty. Later this year Primark will open stores in Bahrain (City Centre Bahrain) on 23 September 2026 and Qatar (Doha Festival City) on 29 October 2026.
