Dubai-backed hospitality major Jumeirah Group and also a member of Dubai Holding, had a raft of new appointments as it went on for an expansion drive of its culinary portfolio upgrades up.
As per the hospitality major’s reports, this is followed by an announcement of 13 latest and re-imagined concepts that are set to open over the forthcoming two months, with a set of latest chefs and mixologists for boosting the Jumeirah Restaurant team as well as shifting the Group’s stunning beachfront into a vibrant culinary hotspot.

As per the Jumeirah Group interim findings, Chef Saverio Sbaragli takes on the role of head chef at Al Muntaha, the iconic Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, getting on board a Michelin star expertise in French fine-dining cuisine with Italian influences. Chef Tom Koll joins as the global-famous hotel as an executive pastry chef.
Chef Andrea Migliaccio steps into the role of executive chef at Al Mahara, joining from Capri Palace Jumeirah’s Michelin starred restaurants L’Olivo and Il Riccio. Rounding off the latest team is acclaimed mixologist Thibault Mequignon as bar manager of nightspot Gilt.
Jumeirah also inducts Marco Acquaroli, at Jumeirah Al Naseem, joining Rockfish as the executive sous chef, with over 10 years of experience in Michelin starred restaurants across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East while Remy Marquignon also joins the team as sous chef which will transform into a beverage apothecary.
Chef Julien Jacob, steps into the role of Pastry Chef for the hotel, getting in over 16 years of expertise in the art of pastry and baking techniques for serving an exceptional selection of desserts across the hotel’s restaurants as well as the lounges.
The F&B operations at the Jumeirah Mina A’Salam will be led by Charles-Antoine Chaudron who had joined as the Director of F&B. Chaudron had previously operated at luxurious hotels across France and England, comprising of the Peninsula Paris, Chaudron will be overviewing and boosting the hotel’s existing and upcoming culinary offerings.
At Zheng He’s, Wong Lian You gets on the lead role of executive chef bringing life to the reimagined Dubai institution, with the best of conventional authentic Chinese flavors and handcrafted Dim Sum. While taking on the role as outlet manager of Pierchic, one of the UAEs coastline’s most distinctive dining destinations located at Jumeirah Al Qasr, is Andrea Gerli, bringing over eight years of hospitality expertise in the Middle East and Europe.
Lastly, as per the hospitality major, Sebastien Torres joined the Jumeirah Beach Hotel as Executive Chef. Torres had operational oversight of a variety of specialty restaurants ranging from brasserie-style to fine dining establishments alongside the two Michelin stars.
