Vision Bank, primary Saudi Islamic bank powered by AI and regulated by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA), and Publicis Sapient, a technology company that provides enterprise AI platforms and services, today announced a strategic partnership agreement at Money20/20 Middle East in Riyadh to accelerate product innovation and advance the bank’s customer experience.

As part of the partnership, Publicis Sapient will work with Vision Bank to design, launch and operationalize the bank’s Innovation Strategy and Innovation Hub, aligned with its growth agenda, customer segments, regulatory context and technology trajectory. The partnership will also strengthen Vision Bank’s digital and product capabilities and support the development of differentiated propositions for individual and small and medium enterprise (SME) customers.

Vision Bank is committed to delivering innovative, secure and customer-centric banking services. Its mandate is anchored in innovation, trust and transparency, leveraging modern technology and data insights to deliver agile financial services adapted to the evolving needs of individuals, families and businesses across the Kingdom.

As part of this commitment, Vision Bank has recently launched a program to institutionalize innovation as a core business capability, with the goal of creating material business impact by consistently launching differentiated solutions and setting new industry benchmarks. Its strategic focus includes partnering with fintechs and technology providers to accelerate product innovation and customer value creation.

“We built Vision Bank around intelligence rather than adding it afterwards, because we believe that establishes the foundation for a future-ready banking experience,” said Abdul Shakeel Aidaroos, CEO, Vision Bank. “Our partnership with Publicis Sapient strengthens our ability to turn innovation into a repeatable business capability, helping us continue to raise the standard of what our customers experience and bring new services to market at the speed they expect.”

Publicis Sapient will bring its AI, strategy, product, technology and financial services expertise to support Vision Bank in establishing the capabilities, ways of working and structures needed to operationalize innovation across the bank. Through the partnership, the two organizations will focus on identifying high-value opportunities and translating them into differentiated propositions that deliver measurable value and support Vision Bank’s growth ambitions.

“The real opportunity with AI is not simply to apply new technology to the way a business operates today, but to use it to reimagine what the business and its customer experiences can become. Vision Bank has put intelligence and innovation at the heart of its ambition from the outset. Through this partnership, we will bring together AI, product, technology and deep financial services expertise to help turn that ambition into differentiated propositions and measurable outcomes for experiences for customers and the business,” said Rohit Mathew, Head of Financial Services MENA, Publicis Sapient

The partnership supports Vision Bank’s ambition to build innovation into the way it operates and continuously evolve its products and services as customer expectations, technology and the financial services landscape develop. It has been established in line with the objectives of the Financial Sector Development Program under Vision 2030.
