Khaleeji Bank Signs 5 MoUs to boost Housing Finance Solutions

Khaleeji Bank, one of the leading Islamic banks in the Kingdom of Bahrain, has announced signing a series of Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) with several companies operating in the real estate sector. These agreements aim to provide competitive financing solutions to customers wishing to purchase and own properties within the partners’ projects, coinciding with the Bankโ€™s participation in the Innovation in Social Housing Conference and Exhibition 2026.

The MoUs encompass Delmon Gateway, Kingdom Projects, Diyar Al Muharraq, Kayan, and Naseej. This move reflects Khaleeji Bankโ€™s commitment to strengthening partnerships with the real estate sector and expanding the range of housing and financing options available to customers.

Industry sources added that these agreements aim to enhance the integration of Khaleeji Bankโ€™s Shariโ€™a-compliant financing solutions with the real estate options provided by the participating entities. This will facilitate customersโ€™ homeownership journeys, starting from ideal property selection to the final financing arrangements.ย 

Eligible customers, subject to approved terms and conditions, will benefit from a range of exclusive offers provided by Khaleeji Bank. These include financing of up to 120%, a grace period of up to 12 months, and an annual percentage rate starting from 4%, alongside subsidies for electricity and water bills and other additional perks.

Industry sources further added that the signing of these MoUs coincides with Khaleeji Bankโ€™s participation as a Platinum Sponsor of the second edition of the Innovation in Social Housing Conference and Exhibition. Organised by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning and Eskan Bank, in cooperation with the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council, the event is held at Exhibition World Bahrain, Sakhir.

These partnerships reflect Khaleeji Bankโ€™s commitment to strengthening collaboration with developers and real estate companies to deliver comprehensive solutions for customers, thereby expanding homeownership options while supporting national efforts to develop the social housing system.

Furthermore, these agreements align with the Bankโ€™s drive to enhance the customer experience and provide flexible, competitive financing solutions that meet the needs of diverse customer segments, facilitating access to housing and real estate options that correspond to their aspirations and financial capabilities.ย
