ProConnect, the logistics and supply chain solutions business of Redington, has inaugurated its new logistics center in Riyadh, strengthening its presence in Saudi Arabia and expanding its ability to support customers with technology-enabled, end-to-end supply chain solutions.

Located within a 2.1 million sq. ft. logistics community, the new facility has approximately 400,000 sq. ft. of built-up space and has been designed to cater to the evolving logistics requirements of businesses across multiple industries.

The facility was inaugurated in the presence of representatives from the Ministry of Investment of Saudi Arabia (MISA), the Saudi Export Development Authority, the Embassy of India, customers, partners and members of the wider business community.

The launch reflects ProConnectโ€™s continued investment in Saudi Arabia as businesses across the Kingdom expand their operations and seek more agile, efficient and technology-driven supply chain models.

The facility provides more than 50,000 pallet positions, over 160,000 shelving locations, a 15-metre clear height and 41 loading bays, enabling ProConnect to manage high-volume and complex logistics requirements. Around 25% of the facility has been allocated for staging operations, supporting efficient movement of goods through the warehouse.

Designed to serve a broad range of industries, the facility supports multiple temperature environments ranging from -24ยฐC to +24ยฐC, covering frozen, chilled, ambient and dry storage requirements. It is SFDA compliant and ISO certified, enabling customers from regulated and specialised sectors to benefit from secure and compliant logistics infrastructure.

Technology is central to the facilityโ€™s operations. A Warehouse Management System provides greater visibility and control across inventory and fulfilment, while smart dock management, AI-enabled dimension capture and real-time tracking help improve operational accuracy, efficiency and turnaround times.

More than 190 CCTV cameras further strengthen security and monitoring across the facility.

Chidambaram S, President, Supply Chain & ProConnect, Redington, said,ย โ€œSupply chains today need to be more agile, visible and responsive to changing business requirements. This facility has been designed with those needs at its core, combining scale with technology and operational expertise. From multi-temperature storage and intelligent warehouse management to real-time tracking and automated processes, we are building the capabilities that will help our customers simplify complex supply chains and scale their operations efficiently in Saudi Arabia.โ€

The new facility also strengthens ProConnectโ€™s ability to provide integrated services across warehousing, fulfilment, distribution and value-added logistics, helping customers simplify increasingly complex supply chain operations.

Saudi Arabia continues to see significant investment across technology, infrastructure and new industries, creating greater demand for modern logistics capabilities that can support businesses as they scale across the Kingdom.

Rawad Ayash, President, ย Saudi Arabia, Redington, said,ย โ€œSaudi Arabia is moving through an important phase of economic and digital transformation, creating significant opportunities for businesses across the Kingdom. As Redington deepens its presence here, we are investing in the infrastructure and capabilities that can support this growth. The new ProConnect logistics center strengthens the ecosystem we are building in Saudi Arabia and gives our customers and partners access to scalable, technology-led supply chain capabilities closer to their businesses.โ€

The Riyadh logistics center represents another step in ProConnectโ€™s strategy to build future-ready supply chain capabilities across its markets and deliver scalable logistics solutions aligned with the changing needs of customers.
