Via their educational wing the Dubai Entrepreneurship Academy, Dubai SME has overviewed and launched up a programmed series for aiding in the businesses and for boosting up the Emirates entrepreneurship.

In a statement given by Dubai Entrepreneurship Academy (DEA) on Tuesday, these programmes primary objective is for training the firms as well as individuals for being innovative as well as for accomplishment of sustainable progression.

The Deputy Chief Executive of Dubai SME, Saeed Matar Al Marri, stated that: “DEA is always dedicated for offering “specialized knowledge as well as skills that meet the requirements of the community as well as empower them for promotion of the economic development as well as enhancement of the emirate’s position as a vibrant business centre.”

The training programmes scheduled for the initial half of this year will cover topics like the business optimization, financial forecasting for SMEs, innovation, leadership, supply chain management, strategic intelligence as well as the digital solutions.

She further stated that: “We have had a hectic year [2020] engaging with the start-up community and entrepreneurs despite the Covid-19 crisis. DEA seeks to empower SMEs and consolidate smart practices for their advantage.”

The Commercial as well as trading hub for the Middle East, have currently unearthed diverse aiding measures for both SMEs as well as trades amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic the preceding year. The Emirates have also introduced a lot impetus dealings valued at Dh1.7 billion this far to view the overall effect of Pandemic.

DEA’s director, Ibtihal Al Naji, stated out further that the primary objective is for equipping the aspiring entrepreneurs with necessitated skills that is a prerequisite for launching up the projects as well as expansion of them in the way that aids up the exact figures for future businesses natively as well as globally.

This year, DEA is also subscribing a three-month certified specialized entrepreneurship diploma programme in partnership with the American University in Dubai.

More than 11,200 individuals were trained at the academy the preceding year, an upsurge of 70 percent associated to the preceding year. The numerous programmes also amplified up to 135 the preceding year, compared to 124 in 2019.
