DDA’s cybersecurity vision and efforts honored by Trend Micro

The Department of Digital Ajman (DDA), is in pursuit of making huge strides within cybersecurity arena as their focussed strategy, vision as well as commitment for boosting the competitiveness of the Emirate and with Trend Micro, a globalized pioneer in the cybersecurity arena.

As per recent firm announcement, Trend Micro had offered the DDA with a specialized award for their brilliant input in supporting as well as securing the Emirate’s digital revolution voyage, in line with the Ajman vision.

As per the firm’s report, the award was presented by Dr. Moataz Bin Ali, Vice President and Managing Director, MENA for Trend Micro to H.E. Mrs. Dina Fares, Acting Director General at DDA, Eng. Hamad Ibrahim Al Balushi, Manager of Network and Information Security at DDA, and Mohammad Wail Wajih Khachfa, Network Security Specialist at DDA.

The global pandemic had a daunting hurdle for the governments across the world in defending their digital infrastructure from cyber-attacks. To remain ahead of the curve, DDA is determined reimagining their approach to security to not only protect but also enhance the digital experience of users and customers.

After thorough evaluations and consultations on its network and data centre protection, the entity partnered with Trend Micro to participate a multi-layered cybersecurity strategy to combat the modern-day threat landscape.

The firm DDA had also announced recently the adoption of the solutions like that of the Trend Micro’s Tipping Point Threat Protection System, Deep Discovery Inspector, Deep Security Software in securing the infrastructure, workforce, and processes – thus uplifting its entire cyber security stance.

Eng.
