Advanced Electronics Company at GITEX 2021 boosting Saudi Arabia ICT prospects

During the concluding part of the GITEX Global, a huge technology sourcing, networking event held globally recently at the Dubai World Trade Centre, Dubai, from 17 to 21 October, Advanced Electronics Company (AEC), a Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI) owned firm assured its stance as core enabler for the Kingdom’s technology innovation and digital shift.

During the GITEX Global event, the firm announced displaying their unique set of merchandizes, solutions that comprised of: –

“Bariq” Drones, Managed Services, Security Operations Center (SOC), Sandboxing, Data Diode, and Cloud based services, thus displaying its Industry-powered prospects from electronics, technology as well as manufacturing arena.

The firm also announced signing up of latest strategic partnership agreements at the event comprising of: – an agreement with the Malaysian firm Seeloz to boost AEC’s supply chains utilizing the AI, an agreement with the Estonian firm Talgen to boost AEC’s cybersecurity prospects, and a collaboration with Saudi firm Easy technology to develop smart solutions, comprising of Smart Parking.

The firm also reported that, its booth was able to capture large number of visitors, even comprising of VIPs and leading delegates from across the technology industry. Few amongst them comprised, H.H. Prince Bandar bin Abdullah Al-Mishari Al Saud, Saudi Arabia’s Assistant Minister of Interior for Technology Affairs, Dr. Khaled Al-Bayari, Assistant Minister for Executive Affairs, Ministry of Defense, Mr. Badr Al-Qahtani, Saudi Cultural Attache in the UAE, H.E. Mr. Jaan Reinhold, Ambassador of the Republic of Estonia to the UAE.

It also comprised few other visitors comprising of Dr. Abdulrahman Al Jadhai, CEO of ELM, Mr. Sami Al Shafan, CIO National Guard Saudi Arabia, Mr. Ayman AlFallah, CEO of THIQA, and a delegation from the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority headed by Eng. Amer Al-Qahtani, CEO of Business Development.

Eng. Ziad Al-Musallam, CEO of AEC, promptly commented regarding the firm’s participation for 17th time in GITEX Global, stating that, “We are proud of AEC’s continued success at various global events and exhibitions, strengthening our growing role as a regional leader in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and a key enabler of the Kingdom’s ambitious digital transformation journey.”

He further added that “Through these global platforms, we aim to further strengthen our expertise, accelerate our process of innovation, and consolidate our position as a tech leader and a fundamental supporter of Saudi Vision 2030.”

AEC, a Saudi Arabian Military Industries owned firm, was formed in 1988 and is headquartered in Riyadh, is a global pioneer in the space of electronics, technology, and manufacturing arena. The firm designs out, develops out, manufactures, maintains and repairs advanced systems and merchandize in the defense and aerospace, data and communications technology, security, and energy sectors.

The firm also reported that it offers out employment prospects for in excess of 2,200 workforces, 85 percent of whom are Saudis, who comprises of over 800 highly skilled and certified male and female engineers occupied in various fields.
