Bahri recognized as Organization of the year for Youth Empowerment

Bahri, a global logistics, transportation leader, was recently named the ‘Organization of the Year for Youth Empowerment’, in lieu with recognition of its pioneering initiatives to empower the youth at the recently concluded GCC GOV HR Awards 2021 held at Dubai in tandem with the 9th Annual GOV HR Summit.

As per the firm’s sources, the award acknowledges Bahri’s pioneering efforts in youth empowerment, both within the organization and outside, its keenness to address the aspirations, concerns, and interests of the youth, while providing them with opportunities to develop their capabilities.

Bahri also commented that it recognizes the effectiveness of the firm’s recruitment strategy in employing young talent at all levels, its proactive steps to equip the youth with advanced competencies to enable them to become agents of change.

Alkhaldi was also a speaker at the CHRO panel discussion held as part of the summit, which brought together experts from the government and the public sector to discuss human capital challenges and industry best practices. He shared his insights on the top HR trends and challenges in the Middle East region and the lessons learned from the pandemic. He also outlined Bahri’s proactive measures to ensure employee equality, promote diversity and inclusion in the workforce, and accelerate digital transformation in HR, besides explaining the steps taken by the company to improve employee engagement and satisfaction.

The firm further added out that Bahri has been setting latest illustrations in youth empowerment by regularly investing in training and development programs for its workforces, also actively promoting women’s empowerment and workforce diversity.

The firm also organizes regular training programs, workshops, internships for young graduates and professionals in Saudi Arabia in line with the Kingdom’s efforts to develop national talent as envisioned by Saudi Vision 2030.
