At CES 2022 Chrysler Unveils Airflow Concept and kickstart Electric future within 2025-2028

Offering what is slated to be a small glimpse of a leading-edge drive-system all-electric technology, fully connected client experience, advanced mobility features, engulfed in dynamic design, Chrysler brand had revealed recently unveiled Chrysler’s Airflow Concept at the CES 2022.

The Chrysler brand is revealing the Chrysler Airflow Concept at CES 2022, giving a glimpse at the leading-edge drive-system technology, fully connected customer experiences and advanced mobility features — wrapped in inspiring, dynamic design — which will fuel the Chrysler brand’s future.

Chrysler also announced this to power brand shift comprising the unveiling of their initial ever Battery-electric Vehicle (BEV) within 2025 along with the brand’s future-ready all-electric Chrysler Vehicle lineup within 2028.

Chrysler brand for in excess of 96 years has been a reputed brand for its innovative, groundbreaking engineering, style along affordable luxurious mobility space. Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid, a solitary plug-in hybrid minivan, is their catalyst for an electrified future.

As per Chrysler, what’s unique is that the latest connected vehicle isn’t simply about moving from point A to point B. The Chrysler Airflow Concept reinvents the clientele experience by integrating the STLA Brain platform and STLA SmartCockpit for delivering seamless connectivity to transition the experience for drivers and passengers.

The concept builds up a connected hub that ushers in a consumer’s digital lifestyle into the vehicle, utilizing advanced technology to build up a customized space for each occupant.

He also further pointed out that, “Chrysler is an iconic American automotive brand, with a heritage in creating new advanced technologies and product segments. Our brand will serve at the forefront as Stellantis transforms to deliver clean mobility and connected customer experiences.”

Ralph Gilles, chief design officer – Stellantis stated: “The Chrysler Airflow Concept represents the start of the brand’s journey toward a fully electrified future. It is the result of a thoughtful synthesis of the full arsenal of Stellantis’ connected vehicle technology – inside and out. The design features a decisively elegant aerodynamic exterior and a modern, sophisticated interior that takes the customer on a new level of digital delight.”

Salient Features of Chrysler’s Airflow Concept

The all-electric Chrysler Airflow Concept amalgamates leading-edge drive-system technology with in-built AI and connected vehicle technology that delivers 350- to 400-mile range and fast-charging functionality.

Airflow Concept exemplifies Chrysler’s latest contemporary, technology-forward design, highlighting an elegantly dynamic profile and LED-illuminated Chrysler wing logo on the cross-car grille/light blade, complimenting the Airflow’s sleek, silent electric-powered ride.

Airflow’s seamlessly connected STLA SmartCockpit, power-driven with STLA Brain, empowers an extension of digital, work, and home environments, all in sync to build up a custom-made experience for every passenger, drivers with screens that can be simplified and clustered to distinct requirements and interests.

Modern, spacious interiors, emphasized by light from a panoramic roof and a comforting color palette, ushers in an open, airy lounge area that conveys a comfortable space away from home and work.

Chrysler Airflow’s STLA Brain platform is fully over-the-air (OTA) proficient, designed to swiftly deliver the latest and upgraded features and functions that enhance and improve the vehicle over time.

The Chrysler Airflow embraces STLA AutoDrive to deliver Level 3 autonomous driving capabilities, which will also be upgradable via OTA updates.

What’s more interesting is that Chrysler’s Airflow Concept as per the brand’s vision for offering a fully electric vehicle lineup by 2028, is empowered using absolute cleaner manufacturing processes and built using recyclable and renewable materials.

Chrysler Electric Aggressive Pleasing BodyLine & Connected Interiors  

As per Chrysler’s report, The Airflow’s silent electric ride pleasantly ropes the sleek design aesthetic, with the concept’s dramatic expression accomplished by an Arctic White body color that conveys a sense of calm and serenity.

Upfront, the Airflow announces its electric aesthetic with the Chrysler wing logo tied into a cross-car grille/light blade illuminated with crystal LED lighting.

As per Chrysler reports, Technology is joined seamlessly into the interior in the form of dark glass sculptures. The central control area assimilates individualized climate controls near the C-shaped air slots. Crystalized textures throughout the vehicle add a sense of precision, providing an intricate shift from the exterior and aligning with the advanced interior design highlighted by premium refinement.

Redefined interior touchpoints support ideas of tranquil, serene comforting spaces and combine illusionary weightlessness and grounding metals to give the Airflow Concept a dynamic, dreamy design.

Soft leather-wrapped seat aid in the accomplishment of a lighter, smoother atmosphere. Materials comprise vegetable-tanned leather, and floor mats, fabric as well as carpeting made of recycled materials; imagining a future of sustainable design.

Functional and ambient lighting helps the driver and passengers create a personalized inner sanctum, augmented by the Airflow Concept’s panoramic roof that allows daylight to stream into the cabin. The ambient lighting reveals itself in direct lines, adding modernity, and indirectly through perforations in the upper door bolsters and a cascade of light spilling out from under the armrests in all four doors.
