ADGMA-Edge signs MoU for boosting UAEs Knowledge-Economy

Abu Dhabi Global Market Academy (ADGMA), the knowledge arm of the international financial center in Abu Dhabi, and EDGE Group PJSC (‘EDGE’ or ‘the Group’), one of the global leading advanced technology groups for defense and beyond, have recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for bolstering the talent development and professional growth.

Industry sources added that the partnership between ADGMA and EDGE affirms ADGM’s commitment to supporting the national agenda, while simultaneously fostering a brighter future for the next generation.

Industry sources further confirmed that as a part of the agreement, ADGMA and EDGE will collaborate in areas relating to learning and innovation, and will jointly work on developing and establishing upskilling and reskilling programs that will enable the creation of sustained employability.

It also confirmed that the MoU will offer a framework for ADGMA and EDGE to exchange best practices and expertise to foster growth and support the UAE’s vision of transitioning to a knowledge-based economy through strategic collaboration. It will also provide EDGE with access to world-class talent assessment and development tools.

Industry sources added that In 2022, EDGE launched its ‘IGNITE’ Programme, a dedicated UAE National Graduate Programme which aims to attract the next generation of top STEM graduate talent to start their long-term career within the Group. ‘EDGE IGNITE’ provides value-driven capability development and an accelerated career development path for UAE Nationals through a comprehensive program including a series of learning and development initiatives.
