Liferay, a leading provider of Digital Experience Platforms (DXPs), recently announced the general availability of Liferay Digital Sales Room (DSR), a new offering that gives B2B sales teams a self-service way to collaborate with buyers and win deals faster.

For B2B organizations, deals often move through a mix of email threads, shared drives, and point tools, with proposals, contracts, case studies, and pricing scattered across systems. That fragmentation only gets harder to manage as more people get pulled into a deal, with each looking for different information at a different stage of the decision. Liferay DSR solves this by giving sales teams a single, organized space to manage a deal and keep every stakeholder who joins the buying group on the same page, so buyers aren’t left to piece it together on their own.

Salespeople Build It, Liferay DXP Powers It

Salespeople can spin up a branded, governed microsite for deals on their own, without submitting an IT ticket or waiting on marketing. Because Liferay DSR runs on Liferay DXP, every room inherits the content, customer data, permissions, and governance the platform already provides, so speed doesn’t come at the cost of control.
A Collaborative Space for Every Deal

Salespeople can use templates to launch a room, then add approved decks, case studies, demos, and pricing as the deal moves forward. Champions on the buyer side can share the room with other stakeholders, expanding the buyer group within a single, governed space so everyone works from the same, up-to-date set of materials.

Liferay DSR tracks how buyers interact with shared content, showing sales teams what’s being viewed and downloaded, and by whom. That visibility helps reps prioritize follow-up, spot additional stakeholders as they join the room, and get a clearer read on deal health.

โ€œB2B sales teams have been left choosing between fragmented point tools and building a sales experience from scratch,โ€ said Julia Molano, Director of Product Management at Liferay. โ€œWith Liferay DSR, salespeople can independently spin up a branded, governed microsite for each deal to collaborate with buyers and close deals faster.”

“Most of the digital sales room vendors we evaluate come from a sales or revenue enablement background,” said Michelle Morgan, Research Manager, Sales Force Productivity and Performance at IDC. “Liferay’s commerce heritage and its focus on regulated, complex industries is a different starting point than we typically see in this market.”

Liferay Digital Sales Room is now generally available as an add-on to Liferay DXP, with a 60-day free trial that includes full access.
