AXA General Insurance Egypt has received approval from the Financial Regulatory Authority on appointing Sameh Anas as its new Managing Director. With this appointment, AXA General is further committed to cultivating their talent pool for a more dynamic and innovative approach, which serves as part of its strategy to expand in the Egyptian market and provide customers with cutting edge insurance solutions.

With a career spanning over two decades in the insurance sector, Sameh Anas has a great experience in insurance operations, including underwriting operations, customer services, claims management, production and collection, insurance networks, and medical approvals. Moreover, the insurance sector has witnessed his outstanding efforts in operational resilience, cyber security, physical security, and all logistical and administrative operations. On top of it all, he is currently a lecturer in the School of Business Executive Education at the American University in Cairo.

Since joining the company in April 2017 as its Chief Operating Officer, Anas became an invaluable asset to AXA General Insurance Egypt due to his track record of experience and ability to achieve remarkable progress by setting comprehensive goals for growth and designing effective strategies, plans, and procedures to ensure the achievement of the company’s goals with world-class standards across all its business lines.

Ayman Kandeel, Managing Director of AXA Life Insurance Egypt and Chairman of AXA General Insurance, joyfully welcomed Sameh Anas to his role as the newly appointed Managing Director at AXA General Insurance Egypt. The appointment was confirmed by the Financial Regulatory Authorityโ€”affirming its recognition of this new chapter in Egyptian insurance services.
