Delta Hotels By Marriott, Dubai Investment Park continues to grow its sustainable initiatives.

Delta Hotels by Marriott, Dubai Investment Park, is leading the way in sustainable hospitality practices by implementing several initiatives to support UAE’s President, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s recent announcement declaring 2023 as the “Year of Sustainability”.

Supporting action and innovation in the field of sustainability, the hotel latest efforts include transforming a part of its terrace into a fresh fruit and vegetable garden. The garden initiative allows the hotel to grow fresh produce, such as tomatoes and bell peppers, which will be used in the kitchen to prepare fresh, and eco-friendly meals for guests. This sustainable approach not only positively impacts the environment, but also offers guests a ‘farm-to-table’ dining experience.

Delta Hotels by Marriott, Dubai Investment Park, has also partnered with AirOWater to transform humidity in the air into sustainable drinking water for hotel guests. The introduction of AirOWater’s Atmospheric Water Generators (“AWG”) was with the intent of tackling the global shortage of clean drinking water, whilst replacing plastic by providing an innovative and sustainable solution to meet the increasing demand for fresh drinking water.

The hotel’s commitment to sustainability extends beyond food and water initiatives. During the festive season, Delta Hotels by Marriott, Dubai Investment Park, strategically created an art installation Christmas tree from scraps of metal, reducing wastage and showcasing the hotel’s dedication to reducing its environmental footprint. Additionally, the hotel offers access to guests to popular publications through an online PressReader application featuring newspapers and magazines and will implement iPad check-ins in Q2 of this year.
