Shell Lubricants Egypt partners with GM and AI Mansour Automotive

Shell Lubricants Egypt has signed two exclusive strategic partnership contracts with General Motors (GM) and Al Mansour Automotive, to be the exclusive lubricants greases, and fluids supplier for both companies. These partnerships align with Shell’s strategy of delivering high-quality products manufactured with cutting-edge global technologies, in a bold move to solidify its stance in Egypt.

The signing ceremony witnessed the attendance of the top management of the three parties represented, by Mr. Khaled Kacem, Country Chairman of Shell Egypt. Ms. Amal Elsheikh, Chairwoman and Managing Director of Shell Lubricants Egypt, Ms. Sharon Nishi, Chair and Managing Director of General Motors Egypt and North Africa and Ankush Arora CEO of Al Mansour Automotive.

Ms. Amal Elsheikh, Chairwoman and Managing Director of Shell Lubricants Egypt stated: “We are thrilled to join forces with industry giants as GM and Mansour Automotive, opening up fresh opportunities in the Egyptian market. In fact, this step comes as part of the company’s keenness to forge powerful alliances with major players to supply the Egyptian consumers with the most effective and efficient lubricants worldwide.”

Elsheikh further explained that Shell lubricants Egypt – under that partnership – will provide lubricants and greases for General Motors’ plant’s production operations, in addition to coolants and brake fluids leveraging cutting-edge technologies. 

Industry sources added that this has positioned Shell as a trustworthy lubricants provider for the largest automotive manufacturers locally and globally. On the other hand, Shell will provide Al Mansour service centers under Chevrolet brand with lubricants, extending Shell’s footprint in sector of the medium-light commercial vehicles MCV by Chevrolet.
