The Khimji Ramdas (KR) Group has strengthened its focus on building an AI-ready organisation with the successful completion of a four-day Executive AI Adoption and Readiness Workshop, led by KR Digital in partnership with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). The initiative marks an important step towards building AI readiness and enabling wider adoption across the organisation, as part of KRโ€™s broader commitment to accelerating digital transformation and equipping its people with the knowledge and capabilities required to navigate an increasingly AI-enabled business environment.

Bringing together employees from across KR Group businesses, the workshop focused on developing a common understanding of Artificial Intelligence, exploring its practical applications and identifying opportunities to leverage AI to enhance productivity, encourage innovation and support business growth.

The programme recorded 122 registrations from across the Group, with 72 participants attending in person and 50 joining online. The hybrid format enabled broad participation across KRโ€™s diverse businesses while creating opportunities for meaningful in-person collaboration, discussion and hands-on learning. The four-day workshop was structured around four key themes, taking participants from foundational knowledge to practical application and future planning.

Commenting on the initiative,ย Hritik Khimji, Director, Khimji Ramdas Group, said:ย โ€œAI is reshaping the way businesses operate, innovate and create value. At KR, we see AI readiness not simply as a technology agenda, but as an opportunity to strengthen our people, capabilities and businesses for the future. This supports our broader commitment to innovation and aligns with Omanโ€™s vision for a knowledge-based, diversified economy.โ€

By building awareness and readiness across the Group, we can identify new ways of working, improve efficiency and create greater value across our businesses.โ€

The workshop provides a foundation for continued AI adoption across the Group, as KR looks to build on the learning and insights gained to explore practical applications, enhance productivity and support innovation across its businesses.
