TAIBA, a leading company in the hospitality and real estate sectors and listed on the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul), signed two agreements with ArabiaBeds and Trip[dot]com during its participation in the inaugural edition of WTM Spotlight, held in Riyadh for the first time from 8 to 10 September 2026, as the company showcased its vision for the future of Saudi hospitality, its growing portfolio, and its strategy to expand the presence of its hotel brands and reach new markets and traveler segments, supporting the Kingdom’s transformation into a global tourism destination.

TAIBA signed an agreement with ArabiaBeds, an Almatar Group company, to expand the commercial distribution channels for Makarem Hotels and connect its hotel inventory with a broader network of B2B travel buyers, including wholesalers, tour operators, online travel intermediaries, and distribution partners across regional and international markets.

The partnership will enable Makarem Hotels to reach new demand segments, strengthen the brand’s presence in target markets, and support opportunities to increase room nights and revenue, as well as leverage ArabiaBeds’ technology-enabled distribution capabilities, including direct contracting, dynamic connectivity, and scalability, to enhance the efficiency of TAIBA’s distribution channels.

TAIBA also signed a partnership with Trip[dot]com, combining the platform’s global reach and expertise in travel and market data with TAIBA’s hotel portfolio to support international demand and enhance the visibility of its brands in global markets through targeted initiatives that contribute to sustainable revenue growth.

Hassan Ahdab, Chief Hospitality Operating Officer of TAIBA, said: “Our partnerships with ArabiaBeds and Trip.com support our strategy to expand our distribution channels and reach new demand segments across regional and international markets. By combining the strength of our hotel portfolio with extensive distribution networks and the technology and data capabilities offered through these partnerships, we aim to enhance the visibility of our brands, increase opportunities to generate room nights and revenue, and build a more diversified and efficient distribution ecosystem.”

He added: “We see these agreements as an extension of our commitment to developing our business and creating sustainable value for our partners and shareholders, while supporting the growth of the Kingdom’s tourism and hospitality ecosystem and the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.”

WTM Spotlight Riyadh brought together leaders from the travel and tourism sector, buyers and suppliers from Saudi Arabia, the region and international markets, providing a platform for networking, partnership building and exploring opportunities across inbound and outbound tourism, while showcasing the various components of the travel ecosystem, from hotels and destinations to transportation, experiences and technology.

TAIBA’s participation comes at a time when Saudi Arabia’s tourism and hospitality sector is undergoing rapid expansion, driven by the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which seek to develop the tourism sector, strengthen the Kingdom’s competitiveness as a global destination, and increase tourism’s contribution to the national economy. Riyadh, which hosted the event, represents one of the key centers of this transformation, bringing together an integrated ecosystem of investors, operators, destinations, travel companies and technology providers.

TAIBA currently operates a portfolio of more than 43 properties and over 9,000 keys, with a presence across seven major cities in the Kingdom and a workforce of more than 3,000 employees. Its portfolio includes local brands such as Makarem, Noor by Makarem and Dor Communities, alongside partnerships with leading international hotel brands including Hilton, Marriott International, IHG, Accor and Millennium.

Through its participation in the event, TAIBA reaffirms its commitment to supporting the transformation of the Kingdomโ€™s hospitality sector and strengthening partnerships with investors, operators and key stakeholders across the travel and tourism industry, contributing to reinforcing Saudi Arabiaโ€™s position as a global destination and delivering a hospitality experience that brings the values of the Charm of Welcome to the world.
