UAE-based technology company Cognit DX has unveiled Cortex, a new enterprise AI platform designed to help organisations deploy and scale artificial intelligence across their operations, as the company sets its sights on taking UAE-developed AI capabilities to regional and international markets.
The platform was launched at theย Cognitย AI Summit 2026 in Dubai, alongsideย Cognitย AI Studio, applying generative AI to filmmaking and content production.ย
The two launches reflect Cognit DXโs broader focus on developing AI technology and intellectual property in the UAE, while addressing the growing demand from businesses for practical AI solutions that can move beyond experimentation and into everyday operations.

Alaa Dalghan, Founder and CEO of Cognit DX, led the official unveiling, demonstrating the platformโs capabilities and outlining the companyโs vision for making AI more accessible and operational at enterprise level.
Rather than treating AI as a standalone technology, Cortex is positioned around the integration of AI into the wider enterprise environment. The summit featured a keynote address by Hani Khalaf, Chief Technology Officer at Dell Technologies, as well as presentations examining enterprise AI, agentic AI and the growing role of generative technologies in the economy.
The Cognit AI Summit was an invitation-only gathering of over 100 decision-makers, senior leaders and CEOs across technology, digital transformation, AI and innovation from the UAEโs public and private sectors.
