Through KIB Life Academy, the Bank continues to invest in developing talent and fostering a culture of continuous learning, while also extending the benefits of its expertise through collaboration and knowledge exchange with various national institutions.

Commenting on the collaboration, Basil Al-Suwaidan, General Manager of Information Security, Privacy and Anti-Fraud at KIB, said: “Our collaboration with Kuwait Petroleum Corporation was part of an awareness session on cybersecurity practices in the financial sector, reflecting the vital role that both the financial and oil and gas sectors play in Kuwait. We believe that cooperation between the two sectors provides a valuable and productive opportunity to exchange knowledge and expertise, while strengthening preparedness to address the rapidly evolving challenges in cybersecurity.”

For her part, Dalal Anwar Al-Hamoud, Team Leader โ€“ Employee Development at Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, said: “We are pleased to mark the first collaboration between Kuwait Petroleum Corporation and KIB, which complements our efforts to diversify the learning and professional development experiences we offer our employees. KIBโ€™s focus on raising awareness of cybersecurity practices goes hand in hand with its continued support for the โ€œLetโ€™s Be Awareโ€ (Diraya) campaign, launched by the Central Bank of Kuwait in cooperation with the Kuwait Banking Association and with the support of local banks. The campaign aims to promote financial and banking literacy and raise awareness among members of the community.
