Salem Media Group, Inc., announced yesterday that after more than a decade of exemplary service, Jerry Crowley will be stepping down from his post as Vice President/General Manager of Salem Media of New York at the end of 2024. Jerry has been an integral part of the Salem team since 2013, leading both WMCA 570 AM and WNYM 970 AM with visionary guidance and unwavering dedication. His remarkable leadership and unique skills have strengthened and elevated Salem Media’s presence in the New York market.
After 11 successful years with Salem, Jerry Crowley commented, “With much humility, I regard Salem as the greatest national media company in America – its local presence in dozens of markets is inspiring to all who want to make a difference in their lives. My departure should be a clarion call to all those who want to be in broadcast.”

This announcement marks the end of a long and illustrious career in New York talk radio for Jerry Crowley. Prior to serving for 11 years as Vice President/General Manager of Salem Media of New York, he held key management positions for 18 years as Sales Manager and VP/GM at WOR, New York. As this chapter comes to a close, Salem Media Group congratulates Jerry on his success and impact. While we will certainly miss his presence and leadership, we wish him all the best as he embarks on this new chapter.
