Nutanix (NASDAQ: NTNX), a leader in hybrid multicloud computing, recently announced the availability of Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2) on Google Cloud in the Google Cloud Dammam region. This underscores a commitment to accelerating cloud adoption and digital transformation across the Kingdom and the wider region and is part of a broader collaboration with Google Cloud, announced at LEAP Saudi Arabia.

With NC2 now available in Google Cloud’s Dammam region, organizations can more seamlessly extend their on-premises Nutanix environments to Google Cloud while maintaining a consistent operating model across infrastructure. Customers gain the flexibility to migrate applications, support disaster recovery, address capacity demands, and modernize workloads without the need to rearchitect applications.

Industry sources added that as organizations across Saudi Arabia continue to accelerate digital transformation initiatives aligned with Vision 2030, many are seeking hybrid cloud strategies that balance innovation with data residency, operational consistency, and application portability. The availability of NC2 in the Dammam region enables customers to keep workloads closer to users and meet local regulatory and business requirements while leveraging Google Cloud’s scalable infrastructure and AI-ready services.

“Saudi Arabia is one of the fastest-growing cloud markets globally, and customers are looking for greater flexibility in how they deploy and manage applications across hybrid environments,” stated Talal Alsaif, Regional Director, Saudi Arabia, Nutanix. “Bringing NC2 to Google Cloud’s Dammam region gives organizations in the Kingdom and across the Middle East access to a consistent hybrid multicloud platform that simplifies operations while enabling faster innovation.”

Khalid Alohali, Head of Customer Engineering at Google Cloud Saudi Arabia stated: “Bringing Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2) to Google Cloud’s Dammam region is a key milestone in our mission to support local enterprises on their hybrid cloud journeys. Since its introduction, NC2 on Google Cloud has helped organizations worldwide adopt hybrid multicloud architectures by combining the operational simplicity of Nutanix with Google Cloud’s scalable infrastructure and advanced cloud capabilities.

The availability enables customers to more easily integrate enterprise applications running on NC2 with Google Cloud services, including AI, machine learning, data analytics, and cloud-native development tools, allowing organizations to innovate faster while maintaining a consistent infrastructure and operations model across private and public cloud environments.
