stc Bahrain, a digital enabler, recently announced its partnership with government hospitals in the Kingdom of Bahrain to advance healthcare digitization through the secure conversion and archiving of patient medical records. The initiative will support the transformation of paper based patient files, into secure, accessible and searchable electronic records. By modernizing records management, stc Bahrain is supporting more efficient access to information across the Kingdom’s healthcare system.
Industry sources added that the project will deliver a comprehensive end to end solution covering document preparation, scanning, Optical Character Recognition, indexing, quality control, secure archiving, data backup and the upload of verified records into the hospitals’ health information system.
