Bahri Moves Up Multiple Spots to Rank 40th on Forbes ME’s Top 100 List for 2021

By advancing 36 positions within two years on the list of top companies in the region, Bahri has once again demonstrated its sustained growth and resilience

Riyadh – 10 June 2021: Strengthening its position as one of the biggest, most valuable, and most profitable companies in the Middle East region, Bahri, a global leader in logistics and transportation, has been featured in Forbes Middle East’s list of the top 100 companies for 2021. Bahri advanced 36 spots on the list to reach its best ranking so far, reaching the 40th position this year.

Bahri’s achievement recognizes its remarkable performance and exceptional resilience during a particularly challenging period for businesses worldwide. Despite operating amid uncertain market conditions, the company continued to lead innovation and excellence in the maritime logistics and transportation industry through several multi-pronged initiatives to improve its operational efficiency, technological competencies, service offerings, geographical presence, and fleet strength. As a result, Bahri attained a huge increase of 153 percent in its annual net profit in 2020, with the revenue increasing by 28 percent compared to the preceding year. Furthermore, by significantly improving its ranking this year on the ‘Forbes ME’s Top 100 Companies in the Middle East’ list – from 51 in 2020 and 76 in 2019 – Bahri has reiterated its commitment to delivering quality-driven services and attaining sustained revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

Commenting on the accomplishment, Eng. It recently won the ‘Excellence in Logistics’ and ‘Excellence in Sustainable Practices’ awards at the Global Good Governance (3G) Awards and the ‘Ship Operator of the Year’ award at the ShipTek Awards 2021, in appreciation of its accomplishments across various aspects of business excellence.
