Trend Micro invites MENA firms for CloudSec 2021

Trend Micro, a global leader for cybersecurity solutions, is in pursuit for hosting CLOUDSEC 2021, a global cloud-cybersecurity conference. The conference theme is titled “Reimagine Your Cloud”. The event will be a virtual event from 16th – 18th November 2021.

As per the firm’s announcement, CLOUDSEC 2021 features five learning paths designed for the attendees to dig deeper into the technologies discoursed during the event.

The learning paths are SOC, Infrastructure-as-code, DevOps, Zero Trust, Threat Intel. Speakers from Trend Micro and numerous associations will share their best views, best practices, tips on approaching security in a different manner.

The core focus of the conference is to offer right prospects for attendees to board on a thought-provoking journey:

Day 1 will kick off with keynotes delivered by global technology influencers, including AWS, ESG, Pearson, Snyk, an investigative journalist from New York Times, and more

Day 2 will focus on region-specific discussions and insights, where local experts and leaders share their market observations and upcoming trends. For the Middle East and North Africa agenda, the opening keynote, “MENA’s State of Digital Transformation and The Evolving Threat Landscape”, will be delivered by Bilal Baig, Technical Director, MENA, Trend Micro, and will cover the array of challenges faced by regional organizations across industries – lack of visibility, remote and hybrid working models, exposed networks, cloud environments, unscreened endpoints, and more – as they continue their digital transformation journeys. Other Day Two talks include sessions by Trend Micro experts that cover topics from DPR and XDR to cloud banking and compliance.

Day 3 will feature a 24-hour, capture-the-flag-style hands-on technical challenge called the #CLOUDSEC_Challenge, where players need to clear three categories of challenges – DevOps, SOC, and Hacker – to win prizes and street credibility.

The event CLOUDSEC 2021, marks out 10th year of much-anticipated industrial summit. Founded during 2011, conference had witnessed huge advancement over decade, concluding 2020 edition pulling in excess of 270 speakers and over 10,000 attendees globally.
