Riverbed has promoted Charbel Khneisser to the position of Vice President, Solutions Engineering for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). Khneisser who previously served as the companyโs Regional Director, Technical Sales for the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa (META) region now sees his role expand with a significant focus on strategic planning, cross-functional alignment, best-practice development and sharing, and empowering the companyโs regional Solution Engineering teams.
With his vast technical expertise and years of experience as a trusted industry commentator, he will also serve as the companyโs primary technology evangelist in the EMEA.

Industry sources added that Khneisser is a technology industry veteran with over 18 yearsโ of experience, having served half of his tenure in various technical and leadership roles at Riverbed.

Industry sources also further confirmed that additionally, to leading the Riverbed EMEA solutions engineering teams, Khneisser will closely engage with key regional enterprise customers and partners to understand their business strategies, objectives, and challenges and address these through the implementation of appropriate solutions from the companyโs Unified Observability and Acceleration portfolios.
By working closely with customers and partners, he will look to optimize feedback collection and guide further product feature enhancements. With Riverbedโs solutions being fundamental to the broader technology ecosystem of the modern, hybrid enterprise, Khneisser will also collaborate closely with the companyโs Technology Alliance partners to create tailored solutions that drive the overall value for customers.
