Dubai South’s logistics district is now at present 20 percent operational with a latest E-Commerce logistics hub as the emirates within the 2023 eyes for an AED12 Billion ($3.2 Billion) complete online boost.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai launched the coveted phase one of the Dubai South district E-Commerce zone EZDubai’s launchpad during January 2019 and further stated that the overall work is getting progressed.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, that is expected to do more foreign direct investments in E-commerce arena as the global e-commerce has come to the fore during the Pandemic when more purchasers have gone online as blocks and mortar shops were obligatory to close.

In the first operational phase, EZDubai will span an overall area of 3,40,000 Square metres of space, out of which 68,000 will be operational and the remaining 91,000 to be under development.
Supporting the Dubai’s E-commerce strategy, that was launched the previous year by the Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, sorely intended to attract a huge amount of Foreign Direct Investments within the Ecommerce arena.
This E-Commerce Zone already houses few of the logistics and E-Commerce pioneers including DHL Express, Aramex, Amazon, Fetchr, Yunda, First Cry, as well as Triboo.
