Beyon Connect, part of the Beyon Group, and PhazeRo, an Omani technology company specialising in AI, data science and software engineering, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the presence of H.E. Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Chairman of Beyon Group, to collaborate on opportunities to deliver digital trust solutions across Oman and the wider GCC.

The MoU was signed during Gateway Gulf 2026, taking place in Bahrain on 1 and 2 November, and establishes a framework for the two companies to jointly identify and pursue opportunities that address the growing demand for secure digital identity, electronic Know Your Customer (eKYC) and other digital trust services across the region.

The collaboration brings together PhazeRoโ€™s technology expertise and market presence in Oman with Beyon Connectโ€™s experience in developing and delivering digital identity and trusted digital services. The companies will initially explore opportunities in Oman, while working together to identify potential applications for digital trust solutions across other GCC markets.

A key area of collaboration will be Beyon Connectโ€™s OneID solution, an advanced digital identity and eKYC platform designed to enable secure identity verification and authentication. OneID can be flexibly deployed and adapted to meet different market and organisational requirements, providing a foundation for governments and businesses seeking to deliver secure and seamless digital services.

Beyon Digital Growth CEO and Beyon Connect Chairman Shaikh Mohamed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa commented: โ€œAs digital economies across the region continue to develop, trusted digital infrastructure will play an increasingly important role in enabling organisations to deliver services securely and efficiently. Our collaboration with PhazeRo creates an opportunity to bring Beyon Connectโ€™s proven digital identity capabilities to new markets, beginning with Oman, while exploring a broader pipeline of opportunities across the GCC. Together, we aim to enable organisations to adopt trusted digital services that make identity verification simpler, more secure and seamless.โ€

PhazeRo Founder and CEO Masoud Al Rawahi, said: โ€œOrganisations across the Gulf are increasingly looking at how technology can solve complex business challenges and improve the way they deliver services. Secure digital identity is an important part of that evolution, particularly as more interactions and services move online. Working with Beyon Connect allows us to bring an established digital trust capability into the solutions and opportunities we are developing in the market, while creating the potential to take that work further across the region.โ€
