The Payments processing hand of the E-Commerce major Amazon, the Amazon Payment Services alongside its insurer partner Zurich International Life have recently launched up a digitalized payment services for the Middle East clients for payment of insurance premiums digitally across all of Zurich’s merchandizes in native currencies as well as without incurring any further conversion fees as well as the highest levels of Clientele Data Security.

The APS Payment processing service providers core mission is to empower trades with simple, reasonable, as well as trusted online payment experiences within the entire Middle East and North African (MENA) territory.

This latest service has been made available for the diverse set of clients in the UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia etc since January 2021.

The digital payment integration distributes a safe and secure environment for receipt and processing client data. APS also performs as the single point of contact for managing Zurich’s digital payment requirements, offering end-to-end support by networking with numerous diverse parties in a whole secured card payment ecosystem.

The CEO of Zurich International Life in the Middle East territory, Walter Jopp, stated that: “Partnering with Amazon Payment Services has enabled us to provide a seamless digital payment experience for our customers that offers more payment flexibility while optimizing operating costs, ultimately benefitting the end customer. The Managing Director of the Amazon’s Payment Service in Middle East, Omar Soudodi, stated on the ongoing partnership that, “It is a privilege to be part of the digital transformation journey of Zurich International Life Limited, enabling them to become one of the first life insurance companies in the Middle East to launch an end-to-end digital payment and customer onboarding experience.”

Zurich International Life Limited (a part of Zurich Insurance Group) is a principal multi-line insurer offering a broader range of life, savings and investment solutions for global firms, mid-sized and large businesses, small trades, and entities in the Middle East.

The preceding December 2020, the E-commerce giant proclaimed the unveiling of APS in the Middle East and North Africa territory.
