Laura Coquis elected as the Investcorp’s Global Head of Institutions

Investcorp, a core global provider and manager of alternative investment merchandize recently announced the appointment of Laura Coquis as the Global Head of Institutions. Laura will be based within London and she will take the new role with instant effect.

With the fresh role as the new face of Global Head of Institutions, she will be donning core accountability for boosting the Investcorp’s Fund raising objectives all across global institutional markets with instant effect. She will be handling out a global, multi-disciplinary team, will be offering capital formation strategies as well as innovative solutions to power the industry-delivered results for Investcorp’s diverse range of institutional clients globally.

She carries a relevant 20 years’ expertise within fund formation, investor relations as well as investment banking as she joins Investcorp.

Profiles Headed by Laura Coquis

Since 2008, she had emphasized upon the design as well as implementation of institutional capital formation and investor relations strategies for private markets firms comprising leadership positions at advisors, most recently as a Partner at Aviditi Advisors, and also within asset managers, like that of the BC Partners where she spent 9 successful years as a Partner –

  • Head of Investor Relations Management, and also OMERS Private Markets where she was a Managing Director responsible for Strategic Partnerships.
  • Laura’s earlier career in investment banking includes leveraged finance and M&A roles at Lehman Brothers and Merrill Lynch in London, Sydney and New York.
